Dunn: Bob Dunn and United Airlines Plane decorated with cartoons, 1949

Photograph of Bob Dunn in front of a United Airlines airplane decorated with cartoons to help promote Savings Bonds, 1949. The United Air Alines DC-10 was specially decorated with cartoon characters of the cartoonists embarking on a 1949 multi-city tour to help the Treasury Department promote Savings Bonds. The stewardess greets early arrivals (Left to right) Bob Dunn ("They'll Do it Every Time" and "Just the Type") Otto Soglow ("The Little KIng") and unidentified.
