DescriptionS-shaped band-type hat made by Josephine Layng of Short Hills. Hat exterior is covered with pink and lavendar feathers. Gray netting is attached across the front of the hat. Edge of the hat is lined with a blue-gray velvet strip. Lining is silvery material with blue and silver diamond shapes. Rust-colored stains are dabbled across the lining. Tan label says "Josephine; Short Hills, N.J." Purchased on eBay with a small lot of other hats from pricey stores. Lot came from a seller in Dallas, Texas.
