Fire Department: Fire-Houses Need Not Be Eyesores, 1927

Article in "The American City" periodical from October 1927 on architecture of municipal buildings focusing on recent designs for fire houses. Some of the buildings were featured in The Architectural Forum previously, including the Fire, Police and Township Headquarters (Town Hall) Combined in Millburn, NJ, designed by Horatio W. Olcott. The section on the Millburn fire house was written by James Pennoyer, Fire Commissioner at the time.
