The photograph may have been taken in spring 1926, when the house was being used as a temporary real estate office for the Nottingham development, prior to it being sold as a house. Sarah Ruddy was the wife of Robert E. Faddis, who was a Millburn High School teacher and principal for over 35 years. Their daughter, Jeanne Elizabeth, or Betty Faddis, grew up in Millburn and graduated from Millburn High School. The Faddis family first lived on Millburn Avenue, before settling at 69 Whitney Road in the Knollwood section of town by 1940.
