Construction is attributed to c. 1877. Among the previous owners of the house were:Elizabeth Kellogg (1912), George Noyes Slayton (1920), William and Ethel Sale (1943), David and Lois Kendall (1963), Philiop and Frances Broad (1965), Charles Chin (1966). The house is pictured and discussed in the October 1913 edition of Building Progress Magazine and the June 1915 edition of Architect and Builder Magazine. The house appears on the 1928 Robinson Atlas.
