Description1957 80-page softcover Millburn Centennial book. From the donor's mother's collection of NJ historical memorabilia. While in Short Hills the donor lived at 121 Western Drive. The book has bumped corners, edgewear on the covers and light soiling on covers. There is a 1.75" tear in the spine, at the bottom, and a ca. 1" missing piece of the spine paper at the top. There is a 3" x ca. 2.25" roughly circular, dotty, blue stain on the back cover. The pages are clean, but yellowed around the edges. Inside the book was/is a February 23, 1978 newspaper article about the Racquets Club fire, from The Guide. Also inside the book was/is a 4.25" x 5.5" booklet titled "Historical Millburn." Inside the back page of the booklet is: "This booklet was written as part of my Eagle Scout Community Project. It was financed by Troop 64, B.S.A., by selling first aid kits. I hope you will enjoy the historical sites of Millburn and Short Hills. Doug Macrae"
