144-page, 1921, hardcover book titled "Dalzell's Homes of Moderate Size" by Edward F. Hammel , architect, on the work of Kenneth W. Dalzell, architect, M.A.I.A. and published by the U.P.C. Book Company, Inc. of 243-249 West Thrity-Ninth St, NY. Book is covered in tan linen(?) cloth. Front cover is stained in upper right corner and has light overall soiling. Back cover has overall soiling/discoloration on back cover, particualrly around edges. All cover edges have considerable edge wear and all corners are bumped. Spine is faded and worn. Front and back paste-downs and flyleafs have foxing and discoloration on (vertical) half of each page. Inside top left of cover is marked in ink: "11-13-95 200-" and lower right of front flyleaf is marked in pencil: "10 TCB 5" Inside pages are clean. Dalzell lived in Maplewood and Short Hills and designed homes in both communities (see Wiss house literature). The homes in this book, however, are primarily in Maplewood; none are in Millburn or Short Hills.
