Buxton School:1938 Yearbook

Book
This 76-page, softcover book from Buxton School is labeled "Buxton Senior School Year Book of the Class of 1938." The yearbook is a compilation of writing of students at Buxton, which was a private school at 52 Great Hills Road in Short Hills. There are no pictures of the students, but the first nineteen pages have silhouettes of women with a personalized title such as "To M.A.O." and a poem beneath the silhouette. The poems suggest that all the silhouettes are of teachers. Includes an interesting short essay by a student, "New Germany?," warning about Germany's persecution of Jews and "faithful Christians."
