Ganek: Leo Ganek Family Photographs

12 Photographs and negatives from the Ganek estate.Leo and Ida Ganek opened an upholstery business in the Downtown Millburn business district in 1936. They had two children: A daughter, Marcia, and an son, Edwin. The business then moved to the Whittingham Mansion, and again to 358 Millburn Avenue. Leo's brother Harry worked at the store and moved his family to the South Mountain neighborhood (28 South Mountain Road) in 1950. Harry and L. Florence Ganek had 3 sons: Martin, Elliot and Allan (MHS 1966). Elliot, graduated from Millburn High School and took over the business with his wife Dorothy. The Ganeks closed the Millburn store in 2005. The photographs may or may not depict Millburn locations.
