First Baptist Church, Millburn, 1915

Photographic postcard of the First Baptist Church, 132 Spring Street, Millburn. Postally used, postmarked Millburn, July 18, 1915, 1:30 pm. Addressed to Mr. Edgar Birkhead, Beverly, NJ. The Millburn Baptist Church was organized by a group of nine men and women on October 18, 1858. Mrs. Isabelle Lee donated a plot of land at the corner of Millburn Avenue and Spring Street to construct a church. The cornerstone was laid on August 10, 1859.
