Gentzel: John Gentzel

Photograph of John Gentzel, taken by Sol Young. Mounted in brown cardboard folder. Sol (omon) Young (1865-1921) operated several successful photography studios in the early 20th century. He opened his first studio in 1893 with his wife in 1893, near Union Square in New York City. By 1915, he operated at least 7 studios in New York and one in Connecticut.
