Diamond Mill Paper Mill Postcard

Postcard
Black-and-white, real-photo postcard titled "Diamond Mill Paper Mill," sent to Miss Ruth Lockwood; Lake Placid; Essex Co; New York, apparently from her father, as the sender's message begins with "Dear Daughter." The sender wrote on the (divided) back of the card: "Dear Daughter, Was down to Aunt _a__ie's house this evening and had a piece of chocolate cake. Was thinking of you when I ate it.; Love & Kisses, Daddy" The postcard is yellowed, has light overall soiling, and the corners are bumped. The front middle top of the card has a cluster of dark spots between and above the two trees. The cancellation mark is from Bloomfield, N.J., on Aug. 12, 1912.
