Lamb and Rich: 1 Park Place, c 1879

Undated photograph from mounted album of 1 Park Place. Shingle Style house, pictured in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Newspaper, November 13, 1880 and in Bates engraving (1880). One of the original Hartshorn Estates, Inc. homes. Unnumbered. The house originally belonged to Horton (Deed is made out to Elizabeth R. Horton and dated 1879). Owned by William W. Watson in 1924. House is attributed to Lamb & Rich, House for Stewart Hartshorn, “Engleside” (George M.S. Horton House), 1 Park Place, Short Hills, N.J. 1879, L.&W.
