A.W. Goede; Co. E, 135 Inf.; APO #34; New York City." Lower left frontof the envelope is stamped "PASSED BY U.S...." with "TJ Nolan; Capt. Inf." handwritten over the faded censor's stamp. A small pencil note on the top of the back flap states "North Africa." The envelope is yellowed, especially along the edges, has bumped corners, and minor edgewear.
