63 Crescent Place, Short Hills, c. 1905

Real photo postcard view of 63 Crescent Place, Short Hills. Hartshorn House # 48, c. 1890. After Stewart Hartshorn died, his daughter, Cora Harshorn moved to this house and remained here until her death in 1958. Architects: Swinnerton & Poole. Handwritten note on front: "Our present Short Hills home - E.H.C." Back of postcard is undivided (indicating age prior to 1907) and was mailed to "Miss Frances P. Miller; 145 Lincoln Place; Middletown, Connecticut." Three cancellation marks and light soiling around address, Light yellowing all over and more pronounced on edges.
