The book has a soft, vinyl-like cover and is a notebook with seven rings. Front cover has small 0.25" crease in right upper corner. There are 60 pages. In the front cover is noted, "MILLBURN FIRE DEPARTMENT; Millburn, N.J. ; 1963; Commissioner William O. Heilman; Chief John J. Partington; Deputy Chiefs William A. Stoeckle, William V. White; Battalion Chiefs Albert L. Shoemaker , Edward J. O'Brien; Captains Clarence W. Bair, T. Raymond Partington, Vincent C. Tighe, Phillip S. Ross, John G. Ross, John J. Sullivan; Volunteer Captains Edgar R. Rinback, Edward O'Hara. In pencil in right upper corner of front page says, "HULSTRUNK" (who was a volunteer for over 40 years). Inside back cover in upper left is an address label with Mr. Hulstruck's name and address. No marks or other damage to book.
