Written on document is, "MILBURN FIRE DEPARTMENT CERTIFICATE OF EXEMPTION This certifies that Harry S. Nuneviller has served as a fireman of the Township of Milburn, N.J. the time required by law and is entitled to all the rights and privileges conferred by the laws of the State of New Jersey as an Exempt Fireman. Milburn, N.J. Februaru 5th, 1923." Document is signed by W.R. Whittingham, Chief of Fire Department and G.H. Wilson, Chairman of Township Committee and Milton B. Silance, Township Clerk. There is a discolored township seal in in lower center of document. In each corner is a sketched fire scene in a 2-3/4" round insert. An eagle with spread wings is across top of document. In hand-written note on bottom in script is written, "This man made 84% of all fires March 11th, 1922 March 11th 1923 inclusive. " This was signed below by W.R. Whittingham, Chief.
