54 Western Drive, James Lord Architect, 1883

Hand-colored print of architect's drawing of house at 54 Western Drive from the periodical, "American Architect and Building News," April 25, 1883. Hartshorn House # 27. In upper left corner of print is written, "House for John Farr, Esq. Short Hills. N.J. James Brown Lord Architect. 121 E. 23rd St. N.Y.". In lower left corner is 1.75" X 1.25" black and white drawing of ground floor titled, "Ground Plan". Along entire left side is approx. 1" block with writing from bottom to top along side, "American Architect and Building News, Apr. 25, 1883. No. 38". Tiny writing underneath says, "Copyrighted 1883 James R. Osgood & Co." The sketch was colored "post production," by St. Croix Architecture.
