Foster: Gerald Foster letter about the Millburn Post Office Mural, May 2 1956

Object/Artifact
Single-sheet, double sided letter written by Gerald Foster, the artist of the (now destroyed or missing) Millburn PO mural, to L.T. Dickason, re a photo of the mural and a little histroy of it. Foster noted that he has "completely forgotten just how (he) arrived at the composition." Letter has notes that the photo was returned to Foster, who was living in Orangeburg, S.C. then. Letter has pencilled "#340" in upper right corner, which is the number assigned to the copy of the photo made by the historical society.
