26 Crescent Place, c. 1890

Photograph
This private residence was once the carriage house for the Hartshorn estate. When it was no longer required for its original purpose, Cora Hartshorn used the north side of the first floor as an art studio. At the same time, it was serving as the gardener's cottage for the estate and his family used the living quarters. Note the decorative bargeboard and louvered cupola.
