Photograph of Brantwood Cottage (Jacob Wood Home) at 1040 Morris Turnpike, Short Hills from May 1914. The house appears on the 1764 Thomas Ball Map. The house dates to the early 18th century (estimated date of 1728). The house was also known as "Spruce Knoll."
