379 White Oak Ridge Road, 1709

Photograph
Thomas Parsil house, built in 1709. As the 2x great grandson of Captain Thomas Parcel, Samuel B. Parsil (of Civil War) lived in and raised his children in this house. Samuel's son, William Henry "Harry", then lived in the house and raised his children there - including Dorothy Parsil Akers and Elsie Parsil Schroeder. Dorothy continued to live in a house across the street until 2010. Samuel did have a brother but I don't believe that Thomas lived to adulthood. Samuel's descendants were the ones living in the 1709 house. Samuel's wife's family (Ross) lived in the 1702 house. Later owned by the Kimmerie family.
