DescriptionPostally used. Postmarked Millburn, July 15 (date unclear), 12:00 M. Addressed to Mrs. Dan Bair, R.F.D. nr 3, Box 16, Kane, Pennsylvania. This pond was downstream from the Diamond Mill, which is visible in the rear. It was located where the Middle School athletic fields are today on either side of the river. The walls of this pond were visible from the pathway from Old Short Hills Road to Lackawanna Place. Corresponds to Image #148 in the Centennial Collection.
