Millburn Centennial Parade: Dave's Market Float, 1957

Photograph
Black and white photo of float in 1957 Millburn Centennial parade. Across bottom of float says, "1857 MILLBURN CENTENNIAL 1957". On top of float is full-sized model of white horse pulling carriage with two men in it. Carriage has round sign on side saying, "Dave's Market". According to Marvin Silbersher, Dave Fern (right) is the driver on the Dave's Market Float during the 1957 parade. With him on the left is likely Sam Mellilo, Fern's second in command. The photo was taken by Ken Wheeler of 73 Main Street, Millburn NJ.
