Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary Stone House, 1931-33

Designed by leading architect of the the period Bernhardt Muller, the building was constructed using stone from the Hartshorn quarry. It was designed in 1931 & completed in 1933. Includes a nature museum and is used as an informal classroom for primary grades. It is also used for adult meetings and programs of environmental and Cultural interest. There are trail walks through the Arboretum's 17 acres.
