Millburn Public Schools: Taxpayer Report with Budget, 1954

Report to the Taxpayers on The Public Schools of Millburn Township, Millburn, New Jersey., January 25, 1954. Folded pamphlet with the Board of Education Annual report featuring the proposed 1954-55 Budget and explanation, a table showing Debt Service Requirements as of June 30, 1954 extending to the 1983-1984 school year and an update on the New Senior High School. Members of the Millburn Board of Education at the time were: Russell C. Newhouse (President), William J. Miller, Jr. (Vice-President), Herbert R. Coursen, William O. Heilman, Joseph W. Holoski, Isabel H. Lee, Anita D. Silverstein, Harold A. Smith, and Everett J. Stockman. The back page of the pamphlet contains a notice about the BOE elections on February 9, 1954. Polling places for the election were: George Washington School, Millburn High School, Racquets Club, South Mountain School, Wyoming School, Short Hills School and Glenwood School.
