Foster: Gerald Foster Mural for the Millburn Post Office

Postally unused postcard showing the mural painting, "Troops of Major Lee posted at Little's Bridge," from the Millburn Post Office by Gerald Foster. Gerald Foster was a WPA artist, originally from Montclair, NJ, who painted many murals in public buildings and post offices. When the Millburn post office was remodeled and the many postboxes on the east side removed, the mural was taken to Washington, D.C. Whereabouts unknown at this time (2024).
