Summer 2026 Internship Opportunities for High School Students
Become an official township historian
The Millburn Short Hills Historical Society is now accepting applications for its 2026 Summer Internship Program. We are looking for high school students who can spare at least 2 mornings during the summer to help with exciting projects, while learning more about our community, its culture and history.
Interns will work primarily with the Historical Society Museum Collection, learning how to assess the historical significance of individual items by archiving, researching and photographing materials pertaining to the rich history of Millburn-Short Hills.
There will be opportunities to publish material on our website and mount a public exhibition at the end of the summer.
